I Now Have Wi-Fi Coverage All Over My Property

I wrote and played my last blog in somebody else's home; worked great. However, when I played it in my home, the video buffered way too much. I checked the relative download speeds of the two locations, and they were about the same (a little faster in my own home). However, I'm running satellite internet, so my latency period (the time to get a response from a website) is close to 1 second; about 50 miliseconds for non-satellite internet (wi-fi).If you live in the country then you don't have much choice; either satellite or super slow dsl. To get around this problem, I chopped the video sections into 10 parts (originally there were 5), and preloaded the videos before playing them. This results in a lot less buffering, but sound stopped playing with the audio. I put this text right before the video display too let viewers know why they weren't getting audio (but did in the previous blog, showing the same video). ...but now audio started playing. It turns out that I was starting the video before it was done loading, and the audio track wasn't getting enough time to load. Reading this intro text gives the video enought time to load (at least with my 25 to 35 Mbps connection), including the audio track.
